Dry Transformers Cooling Fan

图片
Product Description GFD(S) Dry Transformers Cooling Fan GFDD490-150 Product descriptions: GFDD series crossflow cooling fan are designed for forced air cooling of transformers and equipments like power distribution cabinets, high and low pressure switchgear etc..They allow increasing about 40-50% of output power of dry-type transformer, which greatly improve the carrying capacity and extend the service life of transform. Features: - Large air flow allows the dry-type transformer to fully dissipate heat, increasing 45% -60% of capacity. - Various types of cooling fans are upon customers' request. Cooling fans vary from impeller diameter, airflow entry, and enclosure material. There are top and side blows for the cooling fans. Aluminum alloy and stainless steel enclosure is optional. - The airflow is blown into air duct of high and low voltage winding of transformers and that of winding and iron core at certain angle (45-60 ° horizontal sextant angle, which greatly incr...

Cabinet Air Conditioner FAQ

图片
Can I switch off the system at the main power point or at the fuse box? It is OK to turn the power off, especially if you are away for long periods. Most units have a low wattage crankcase heater that keeps the compressor warm. If the compressor is cold at start up damage may occur. If you turn off your air conditioner for long periods ensure its turned on at least 12 hrs before use. It is also okay to turn the power off to reset the system. I have a filter sign on my wall controller. This comes on after a certain amount of running hours. It is to remind you to check your filter for cleaning or replacement. It’s a good time to book a general service of your air conditioner, if you haven’t had one carried out within the last 12 months. If you have, you can clear the filter sign by pressing and holding the clear button for at least 3 seconds. Why is my system noisy? There are a few reasons why your system might be noisy, dependin...

FAQ About Electronics Cabinet

What temperature should I keep my electronics cabinet/closet below? This depends on the equipment you have, but the general rule of thumb is you don’t want the interior ambient temperature to every get above 100 degrees Fahrenheit.  Some consider 90 degrees to be the max, and if you can keep the temperature in this range that is great, but our feeling is never let the temperature exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit.  Check with Component manufacture for their suggested maximum temperatures. Is the Pre-set Thermal Controller OK, or should I upgrade to the programmable LED controller? The pre-set controller is fine for a lot of applications.  The fans go on at 86-88 and off at 80-81 degrees, and this is a good temperature range.  Sometimes in warmer climates the fans may tend to stay on in the warmer months.  The LED controller allows you to program when the fans go on, and off, and in the above situation you can program a slightly higher on/off range.  Th...

What size fan do I need to cool my cabinet?

What size fan do I need to cool my cabinet? There are a number of things to consider here, but the main considerations are the size of the cabinet, and how many hot devices will be in the cabinet.  First you need to understand that you don’t need to turn your cabinet into a wind tunnel!  Gently moving air through and out of the cabinet is all you really need to keep the hot stagnant air away from your expensive electronics. General sizing: Single 80mm fan                     1 component up to 3 cubic feet Dual 80mm fans                     1-2 components up to 6 cubic feet (no shelves) Single 92mm fan                     1-2 components up to 6 cubic feet (no shelves) ...
